My current work in progress is making its way to novelhood.

The pitch: After a horrific accident changes Bridget’s life forever, she decides to embark on a journey of rediscovery, mourning who she used to be and who she is now. When her car breaks down in a small town that seems not to exist on any map, Bridget finds the place eerie and unwelcoming. Stuck with no way out, Bridget learns this town has a lot to hide.

Themes: Prolonged grief and navigating life after trauma when the world has moved on, but it is hard for you. There is a trigger warning regarding suicide, abusive behavior, and coarsive control.
